Salute! Meet & Greet

A lively group of artists and friends-of-the-arts attended the Nov. 10th potluck supper that featured a salute to our veterans and a Classical piano/violin concert by Anna and Natalia. Thanks to all who participated!

       

              

8th ANNUAL TACTILE ART SHOW - October 2009

In cooperation with the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, the St. Augustine Art Association hosts The Annual Tactile Art Show which features original touchable art highlighted by Braille labels created by the FSDB students. Our exhibit is part of International Art Beyond Sight Awareness Month that also includes exhibits and art programs in such prestigious venues as The Louvre, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cummer Museum. Painting the Landscape in Pastels Workshop NOW ENROLLING!

Instructor: Lyn Asselta

Create colorful and expressive landscapes with pastels. Explore composition, colors, value, underpainting and pastel layering techniques.  The instructor has over 25 years experience as an artist and instructor.  She is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society and Artist-in-Residence at Acadia National Park.
